I use these all the time May 13, 2009 Ed (NJ) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
A professional tool company, one that visits dealers and repair shops weekly, sells this same exact tool set for almost double the price...I bought the "pro" set several years ago for work and the Actron set last year for home.
There's also a similar set here, from Neiko Tools. It looks similar but they're not the same. A coworker has those and the plastic is harder,it does not "give" like the Actrons so you risk the chance of damaging interior panels.
One review criticized the lack of instructions for this set,no offense but if you can't figure it out you should not be working on cars.
"As seen on MOTORZ TV" November 21, 2008 C. Duke (San Diego, CA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
These tools are AWESOME! I use them all the time now, after getting them for an episode of MOTORZ TV. You can watch the episode where I use and recommend them at http://www.motorz.tv/play/alpine_audio_upgrade_installation around 5:50 into the episode. The tools are sturdy, won't harm your vehicle, and can take quite a bit of stress... plus they are cheap!
Work great February 10, 2009 Graham P. Gerdeman (Nashville, TN) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These tools work great. I used them to dismantle the dash of my wife's BMW (to install a Parrot hands-free bluetooth device) and didn't leave a scratch.
Great Product! Extremely Useful. Worth every penny January 2, 2009 H. Singh 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have used these on around 10 cars now installing stereos, 2 way radios, emergency lights, etc. These make the process much easier. These tools also allow you to pull plastic panels apart in car interiors that would be hard to remove without damaging.
I will never work on a car interior again without them!
Great tools June 27, 2009 Good guy (DFW, Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm a former auto mechanic who continues to repair a family full of cars. These tools are quality and work exactly as advertised. They make a wonderful addition to all my older Snap On tools.
